Food Safety
East Carolina University is dedicated to providing a healthy and safe environment for its campus community and guests. This web page will serve as a source of information for those who are not professional food servers and who do not plan to use professional services when preparing or serving food to the university community.
Small lapses in proper handling technique or lack of adequate equipment can easily lead to food borne illness or food poisoning for the University community or guests. While we welcome these special events serving food, it is imperative that all food being served is wholesome and safe for consumption.
