Emergency Management
The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) has responsibility for emergency coordination at ECU. The office is charged with protecting the University’s mission of instruction, healthcare, research, and outreach through emergency planning and preparedness at all levels of the University. This is done through a series of activities, some of which include: emergency operations planning, business continuity planning, maintaining the Emergency Notification System, maintaining situational awareness, coordinating with internal/external EM Partners, monitoring for hazardous weather, pandemic planning, and developing other emergency procedures as applicable
