NTP – National Toxicology Program (A research arm of the US Department of Health & Human Services)
NTP issues updated reports on a two year cycle listing substances for which there is adequate data to list as human carcinogens in one of two categories: (A) Known to be human carcinogens and (B) Reasonably anticipated to be human carcinogens.

IARC – International Agency for Research on Cancer (A research arm of the U.N. World Health Organization) IARC publishes data in Monograph form as it becomes available in the following categories:

Class 1 – Known human carcinogens
Class 2A – Probable human carcinogens
Class 2B – Possible human carcinogens
Class 3 – Not classifiable for human carcinogenicity
Class 4 – Probably not carcinogenic to humans

OSHA – Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Part of the U.S. Department of Labor)
OSHA Standards are created by legislative process based upon the research and guidance of standard setting organizations. OSHA has promulgated expanded health standards that establish specific requirements for use of the listed agents. Full text of the standards may be viewed: 1910 Subpart Z.
