Security Technology
The Environmental Health and Campus Safety-Security Technology Services team supports the ECU Police Department, 1Card Offices, as well as Parking and Transportation’s security technology needs. Our office conducts security assessments alongside ECU PD to ensure buildings, parking and walking areas on and along campus, as well as off site locations are equipped with systems that will assist in keeping staff, faculty, students, visitors safe and property secure.
These systems include desktop support, closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras with associated network/fiber equipment, Police in-car and body worn cameras, Blue-Light phones, computer aided dispatch systems, panic/intrusion systems, radio communication systems, CAD, RMS, and CCTV recording servers. We work diligently to ensure safety and security systems are updated and maintained regularly.
