Workplace Safety

The Workplace Safety Program is specifically designed to assess, recognize, prevent, and manage safety issues as they relate to all ECU staff, faculty, students, and visitors. Safety issues as they relate to the Workplace Safety Program encompasses but is not limited to the following: worker’s compensation investigations, tort investigations, slip/trip/falls, construction safety, confined space, hot-work, Job Hazard Analysis, fire safety including fire drills, building inspections, safety awareness trainings, Emergency Action Plans, and many other topics as they relate to Workplace Safety.
